This event showcased the complete process, from 3D printing to finishing on CNC machines, providing valuable insights for professionals across various industries.

OPEN MIND was proud to have esteemed partners such as Optomec and Materialise, collaborating at the event to make this seminar a resounding success. Optomec, a renowned 3D printing machine manufacturer, shared their expertise and latest innovations in the field whilst Materialise, a leading provider of 3D printing services and consultancy, brought their wealth of knowledge and insights to the table. Lastly, OPEN MIND unveiled their revolutionary hyperMILL^® BEST FIT technology.

The seminar proved to be an enlightening experience, with over 50 delegates from a diverse range of industries attending to explore the potential of 3D printing in advanced manufacturing applications. Live demonstrations showcased the power of hyperMILL^® BEST FIT together with hyperMILL^® CONNECTED Machining on a DMG MORI DMU 40 EVO linear machining centre.

The live demos were divided into two captivating segments. Firstly, OPEN MIND demonstrated how hyperMILL^® BEST FIT and the finishing techniques within the CAM system can be applied to repair components. This groundbreaking solution has revolutionized the way this challenge is approached and overcome.

In the second part of the demonstration, OPEN MIND illustrated the application of hyperMILL^® BEST FIT and finishing on 3D printed parts. Attendees witnessed firsthand how this innovative technology can pave the way for enhanced precision and efficiency, propelling the potential of 3D printing to new heights.
